$569.99 yesterday.. now $599.99 seems SPG is getting greedy

Underpowered load with an overpriced bullet of mediocre accuracy? Front page material, no doubt.

The reviews suggest that this is actually 556 and not 223... guess we'll see what actually ships.

And either way the FPS/ME numbers associated with this product are the same as XM855. Unless they're lying about it (which is of course quite possible) it looks like it's full-power.

UPDATE:

I ordered 260rds of this stuff and it is in fact 5.56, not 223.

It is front page material you fucking dunce.... seeing as its the cheapest SS109 by a long shot....

Either get some now or miss out forever.

You keep telling people that so it will sell out in hopes you can sell yours for $1 per round but guess what buddy, sorry about your luck but it's still in stock all over, also I just bought two boxes for 35cpr out the door and it was American eagle xm855 sooooo there's no reason to buy this junk.

Perhaps you would be so kind as to clue us in to where you can buy AE stuff at 35cpr. Online I can't see any for under 45cpr or so.

It was at dicks sporting good while they had a sale, now check out walmart granted you have to get lucky do to douche bag hoarders but get 30roound packs in for 9.97 regularly and it's ss109 Zqi quality ammo not this shit you'd be better off with xm193 for penetration from what I hear

You realize that SS109 has a STEEL core RIGHT???

XM193 is NOT better at penetration as it lacks a STEEL core.

Jesus guys...

IF and when the ATF announces a REAL ban I bet this stuff sells out overnight.

If you are going to shoot .223/5.56 in the future then why not stock up? You'll eventually shoot the rounds anyway....

Might as well get some while the gettin is good rather than be shit outa luck later on.

How is this even m855 or ss109 if it's for .223. Both NATO rounds would be 5.56x45mm. So I would imagine they are using an SS109 projectile, but the case pressure must be lower then the m855 or ss109 nato ammo right?

Short answer is that it's not actually .223. The shipment I received was 5.56. I have no idea why they're selling it as .223, it must expose them to lots of return shipping if people make the veeeery good point that it's advertised as something other than what ships.

Is this the same ammo that's made by SADU in Romania? Buy Guns and Ammo has been running almost weekly "deals" on the SADU ss109 for the past couple of years and they seemed to be getting a lot of folks saying its no different than LC.

I juts got a case of Sadu. The rounds look pretty sloppy. Accuracy is 3MOA at best. No failures. No less accurate than LC, I suppose. But I would take LC over this stuff.

Sounds like typical LC M855 then....

Meh, what the heck, picked up a box of 500 and 260 in case the ban happens and my back orders don't ship. Worst case I shoot this off first and save my m855 stash for a rainy day.

Im going to buy some just for the hell of it Ill let you know if they even SHIP my order....

Why do people call this ammo junk? [ NO I am not buying any] I purchased some a few years ago with no issues ? What am i missing ?

I was just reading the comments on the product page, I just purchased 500 rounds.

Better to have and not need than to be stuck with nothing.

Looks like this ammo is garbage.

But I guess it doesn't matter if you're reselling at panic prices of $1 per round.
