Description

The XR9-L provides accuracy and low recoil via an exclusive "mid-buffer" that absorbs the very harsh jarring normally caused by the barrel stopping against the frame. The pistol comes with an integrated picatinny rail to support several commercial lasers and flashlights. Using select 9mm +P ammunition, this pistol generates over 500 Ft-Lbs of muzzle energy with felt recoil similar to .380 ACP. Using standard-pressure 9mm ammunition, the XR9-L produces felt recoil similar to .22 LR. The Onyx Edition features a durable, self-lubricating, matte-black tactical finish on the slide, barrel, hammer, and all exposed parts. The aircraft-grade aluminum frame is finished in a tough matte-black hardcoat-anodized stealthy finish. The trigger and transfer bar have a natural stainless steel finish. Black Zytel grips complete the Onyx's covert package. The XR9-L's longer barrel is interchangeable with the XR9-S Shorty, but the slide and recoil spring/guide rod are not.

Buy anywhere but Buds.

They screwed me don't let them screw you. Worst place on the net to do business. I'd buy from CTD before I would purchase shit from buds. BTW... That 99 cent warranty they make you pay for I case of lost or damaged goods ain't worth shit. My shit was delivered to a place and state I don't live. Hopefully whoever lives there will enjoy my Glock Mepro night sights that were delivered to their house because I'm sure as he'll not enjoying them. In the meantime, Buds can suck my balls!

I gave them 6 days to contact me. I contacted them twice by phone and at least 4 times by email. Nothing... yep, the guy on the phone told me his supervisor said "too bad. so sad" I asked them why it wasn't shipped to my billing address of my CC.... in Kentucky. They didn't have an answer for that one. So I guess they told me my business isn't appreciated. The package went to Texas. No chance of retrieval since they used USPS. My Bank will take care of me, not too worried. Live and learn... This Bud's not for me!

Yea, they deleted all the other posts on another one of their postings at least once too, where people with even better cases present their arguements. Freedom of speech isn't a right on this website, so much for the 2nd protecting the 1st. It really bothered me, they screwed me and others for some awful reasons. They invented a reason they couldn't sell weapons with a magazine of 30 rounds to somebody living in wyoming because their billing address was in CO. I have two houses, and each has its protection. I don't need a liberal weapons tzar or fuhrer telling me where I can and can not own a weapon. It's really screwed up.

Let's see how long before this is deleted too. It's ok to trounce on my rights and that of others, as long as it doesn't hit you tshong... my dirt isnt bad, I've heard and SEEN much worse!

As the Customer Service Manager for Buds issues like the Texas delivery mentioned in the previous post by Texasrpbrock are brought to my attention. The customer's post isn't completely accurate. We won't participate in lengthy online debates, however I would like to clear up some misinformation.

The customer states, "I asked them why it wasn't shipped to my billing address." This is true, he did ask this. However, his statement that we didn't provide an answer or we told him to "get bent" isn't quite accurate. We explained the simple answer to this gentleman. Bill To is different than Ship To. As evidenced by the customer's username, the customer did have a previous address in Texas. He changed his Billing address with us to a Kentucky address but did not update his Ship To or Customer address on his account, even now he has left them as his previous Texas address. We shipped as he requested on this order that he placed by himself over the web site. To go a step further, prior to any order with us being "completed" by the customer a customer MUST confirm his/her Ship To address. This customer would have had no option but to click the confirm box with the Texas shipping address OR change it to a new Ship To address.

This customer also references shipping insurance as if this is not legitimate. Shipping insurance will take care of a lost or stolen package while in transit, 100%. Shipping insurance will not cover a package that was shipped properly but the customer had simply not updated his personal information. The package was delivered properly as the customer requested and confirmed during the order process.

Unfortunately, the customer did not update his address and we shipped to the address he asked us to. If you read this, have any further questions or aren't sure about anything on our web site please feel free to call in and ask for me. Any of the reps will put you in touch with me and I'll be more than happy to assist.

Is it me or do these seem way too overpriced for a 9mm? Why not buy a really nice Sig for that price, or a Glock or M&P for half that price? Kimber 1911's are less than $1200 I guess I just don't see the value in a plastic gun being that high.

It's actually an alloy frame. It's always nice to see a new American manufacturer, but in this case every single gun you mentioned is a FAR better choice than this one. Let's just say they still have some kinks to work out.

You can buy a fully decked out custom Sig for less than this and have easily 3 times the gun. Or you can buy almost 3 Glocks for this price, and have 10+ times the gun.

Business 101 - If you have a great product, begin by selling at slightly above cost. Once you're out there and have some cachet, start floating the price accordingly. In this case, you're paying a huge premium to be their beta testers.
