I received my rebate verification email March 26, 2023. I still have not received my rebate. I'll never buy another Keltec. RipOFF

Guns and other types of equipment can be dealer on this forum you can easily buy it. All I want to tell is essay lab reviews that are concerning the new views.

So do you have to own a glock to use this or is that part built into the gun.

0 votes
0 votes

nope, just glock 17 mags

This is a completely seperate weapon that must be shipped to an FFL. It uses Glock magazines. This model will take G17 mags and the 33 round 9mm glock magazines, but will not accept the 15 or 10 round glock magazines.

$408.99 shipped as of 7/5/18. 5 in stock. Not too bad, but will likely go fast.

This isn't overpriced. You're lucky to even find these in stock. I don't fault this shop for pricing it at what every other place does.

My LGS regularly has them for around $399.

In my area, you can only get the 40 S&W for 399.99. 9mm is never available.

I cannot recommend the Gen2. The front sights are defective from the factory. you will have to send the gun back as soon as you get one. My front sight post is all the way down and all the way to the right and it still shoots a foot low and 9 inches right at 15 yards. I should have kept my Gen1. It was always dead-on.

Sounds like you adjusted the front sight backwards. You want to move the front sight OPPOSITE the direction you want the point of impact to move.

Never mind, I didn't read your post correctly.

Whittaker guns gets these in every couple months and sells them for $382 shipped. Don't give your money to these gougers.

I have less than $499 in my g19 sub 2000 AND 500 rounds of ammo

People are selling these for $550-$600 since they are hard to find.

1 vote
0 votes

Yeah 500 is a bit steep. I owned one and sold it, really wish I had held onto it. 350 to 400 I think is where they should be. But people will pay close to 500 for a Poly handgun, this isn't far away from there. Quality was fair.

$350 carbine. don't let the hype scare you into buying one. trump is president... give it about 6 months and these will be $300

Fire one of these before you pay $500 for one. Yes they are cool but are uncomfortable to shoot, the trigger sucks, a pain to clean, and you are pretty much limited to the iron sights that come on it if you want to be able to fold it in half. They are super light and compact for sure. Buy a $500-$600 AR-9 (I like the colt smg platform) and pull the two pins to store it in a bag if you need it compact. Then you can put a short range scope/red dot on it as well! crazy right? Easily cleanable and mine runs awesome.

I'd like to know where you can find a $500-$600 AR-9 available. Everything I'm seeing is closer to the $1000+ range. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spots.

Look at Foxtrot Mikes Products on Brownells and Primary Arms. Get their "ready to customize" lower and one of their uppers. I caught their lower for $139 shipped and their 8.5" upper for $299.99 w/ bolt carrier and charging handle....! If you're frugal and patient, you can easily keep the cost under $600. I'm pleased with the quality thus far on mine. I haven't had it long.

It's really sad how much shop will over charge for these. but then again you have people climbing over each other to pay it.

Technically they aren't overcharging. MSRP is $500. Just not giving a discount.

I was lucky to have purchased one for $399 delivered last year.
However, I bought it with the express intent of tricking it out, as can be seen in my pic.
I got the 9mm S&W model 'cause it was way cheaper than the Glock and, as I already had a S&W 5906, I had mags that were interchangeable, further saving me $$ for my mods.
I saw many vids on it in it's original configuration and, after watching what mods others had done, I realized I could have a 9mm carbine for about $700-$800 with all the mods and add-ons I did.
I've been able to pick up many 15/20 rd mags for cheap and, even purchased 4 - 32 rd mags for throwing lots 'O lead down range.
Saw the new version at my local gun show and they did cosmetically change the forend a little, but ya still have to hold the damn thing on your face to see through the back site....OUCH.! Hence, I went for the Red Lion articulating forend, which indexes 45 degrees so I can still fold the gun in half and, it allows for an array of rails to be installed so you can attach what you need for your particular use.
A 3x9x50 UTG scope, is great for close up and distance accuracy out to 100 yds, along with a 5mw green laser.
9mm is still available for cheap prices and so far, I've loaded up with about 6K rds.
Just an FYI....this thing does not like aluminum cased ammo. I've seen vids of people using it,.... mine hates it...will not feed.
All in all, this is the least expensive 9mm carbine I've seen that's any good. Easy to clean and carry and, very accurate. In my mind, much better than the High Point and better than the Beretta,...which may look cool, but the stock is junk.!
Besides, I think my KelTec now looks way cooler....YMMV
The only other 9mm I considered was the HK, buttttt....at $2k plus, wasn't really an option. Even the knock off copies were approaching $2K.
All in all, I believe anyone would be happy with this carbine, especially if you modified it, making it easier to shoot and acquire your target.

Hello porciniman could you please send me pictures of your Carbine I really like it! And if you would be so kind tell me the parts you have added!

Check out Tandemkross, Tacticool, and Red Lion Precision for almost any sub2000 upgrade. Also, Kel Tec sells a few unique accessories as well as parts. For example, you can pick up another forend for $14 and add rails to it.

The parts I added are :
Red Lion Forend.... $150
UTG 3x9x50 Scope....$138
Nikon P-Series Mount for scope...$40
2...5" Bolt on Mil Spec/adjustable Picatinny Rails...$30
4....MagPul 32rd mags for S&W 9mm....$85
8....15 rd mags.....$120
Scorpion 5MW Green Laser..$60
Barrel Shroud...$72
Inexpensive forend grip with a detachable bi-pod...$15-20??

That's about it....

By price, this is NOT a deal. However, having said that, this exact rifle in 9mm that takes Glock mags is the unicorn of rifles. I have only ever seen one in person once, couple years ago.

It should be noted that the second gen is coming out shortly. Different manufacturing process that moves the serialized "receiver" portion back towards the recoil spring tube (plus less manually scrubbing the excessive material from the parting line after molding.)

If you want this rifle, you will not find it on the internet for any kind of deal. Your best bet is to pay the over MSRP price like this or get lucky at an LGS.

If $90 over msrp is out of your budget for a rifle that you want, that is hard to find, then you probably should just save your money. If you're not buying for some moralistic non subjugation to capitalistic market norms, well, spare us the lecture. This was posted because it's available and some don't mind spending an extra dollar a day to have it.

Are you too stupid to read? Based on supply (very low - e.g. unicorn) and demand (everyone wants one), I'm suggesting it is a very valuable rifle.

But, how in your brain, is spending more than MSRP a deal?

You know the website is for deals and is not called
www.highly-sought-after-guns-that-are-hard-to-find.com..., right?

What would help a caveman like you to understand this? Uuuugh, good rye-fall, you buy-em, uuuugh good. We use formal language around here, jackass.

Nobody minds spending the extra money if it's worth it. However, I just filled you in that Kel-Tec is coming out with a second gen model. Did that get past you also? Doesn't it benefit people to wait?

As for the lecture, do you even know what social aggregating websites are for? We're encouraged to lecture so everyone can benefit from the knowledge.

Too hard for you to understand? I blame the public school system you went to. Now get back to re-treading tires, your break is over.

I am a U.S citizen, asshole.

Your ignorance is the most defining characteristic of you.

There is good news however. Every month 115,000 old white guys, who think just like you, die. Every month 76,000 people just like me are born. My goal is to make them all Libertarians and refuse to be big government lovers just like you democrats and republicans.

It is clear your last comment is a threat. This serves as legal notice that I will defend myself and my family to the fullest extent of the law should you go full retard.

Your descent into name calling speaks volumes to the toxicity levels of your chosen paste snacks. "Deals" are conveyed by means other than price. If you were to be held ransom and were asked to pay $1.50 or lose your life, YOU might think that a deal. Others may think the price to be a $1.49 too high.

Your decent into trying to prevent me from my First Amendment Rights to "lecture" as you put it, speaks volumes to your disdain for the Bill Of Rights.

Don't like the channel, don't watch it. BUT DON'T EVER TRY TO CENSOR ME.

Also, I use ad hominem attacks because, as I succinctly put it yesterday, you are a jackass. It's obvious to everyone, so you might as well own it.

I've let it stay up long enough, knowing that you would try and edit it. It seems so fitting considering your constant engrandizing and belittling others. You misspelled "descent". Carry on. I look forward to your future rants! Did you get the rifle? You should.

The whole intent was to share the good fortune of finding these rifles in stock. "In Stock" being the better part of a deal, not necessarily the price. Nor was the intent of the posting to be an airing of someone's pent up insecurities. But, this seems to be unavoidable. So many insecure ones about.

Ya mad, bro? The butt hurt runs deep in you. I savor every tear rendered reply you post from your grandmother's basement. PS, there is nothing "succinct" about a 7 "paragraph" tantrum reply post. Go ahead, buy the kel tec,you know you want to.

The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.

Maybe you think our Constitutional Rights are not worth fighting for?

Now I understand the basement thing... You are a neckbeard living in your grandma's basement. Yo mama is homeless?

You've proved yourself to be the Butthurt one, jackass.

Upvoted because the Sub2K in 9mm has been "as rare as hen's teeth." The 40S&W version is easier to find and likely cheaper.
