I think the short answer is Federal importation laws. I believe this semi-auto shotgun imported from Turkey must comply with US Code Title 18 Chap 44 Sub 925d, which has requirements that foreign made guns are "particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes." This law controls what semi-auto shotgun and rifle can be imported, and the ever popular 922r controls what has to be done to this neutered version to make it compliant. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/.... Sorry. Definitely not a cost issue...........in my opinion.
Why are the stocks never adjustable on any of the inexpensive, imported type AR and tactical style shotguns? I know the "buffer" tubes are not standard size but companies can easily make them adjustable for length of pull... Must be a cost issue?
