This one is quite different than other firearms out there. The 10/22 fits within its category of .22-caliber firearms and it is similar to a lot of other .22 caliber rifles but pretty much different from every other 9mm pistol out there. The Ruger PC charger, a very sizeable and heavy weapon, has an unusually short barrel for a pistol-caliber style gun of this type, as well as a take-down, so the barrel and handguard are totally removable from the receiver. The safety of this gun is pretty similar to Ruger 10/22. It’s a cross-bolt style safety placed in front of the trigger guard. The grip on this gun is a standard AR-15 grip. The magazine release is pretty different from almost anything out there. The well of the gun sits very far forward. There is a magazine release on the left side that you can use with your support hand thumb as a right-handed shooter. The magazine release is very adjustable because of the ability to switch from Ruger SR series mags to Glock mags. There is no bolt release but there is a bolt-hold open. The charging handle is ambidextrous. The trigger feels pretty much like a standard 10/22 trigger. Overall, this is a bit heavier short-barrel rifle, ideal for home defense and as a range rifle.
