The Smith & Wesson Model 41 is considered as one of the best .22 target pistols ever created. Its capacity is 10+1 and it uses .22 LR caliber ammunition. There are two basic models: The 41 with a 5.5-inch barrel and the 41 with a 7-inch barrel. This handgun features a unique ability, a switch-barrel design that allows exchanging both available barrels (5.5 and 7 inches) on the same frame. It is a typical blowback single-action semi-auto firearm, designed for target shooting. The grip angle is almost the same as on a full-sized 1911. In terms of safety, there is a single slide stop on the left side of the gun, and the steel thumb safety lever is right behind the magazine release and behind the trigger.
