Calibers: .45 ACP, 38 Super Features: Compact and Pro Carry pistols have 4-inch bushingless match grade bull barrels. Compact Stainless II has a shorter frame yet retains 7-round magazine capacity. Kimber aluminum frames have been tested to over 20,000 rounds without evidence of meaningful wear. All Compact and Pro Carry pistols use a proven single recoil spring design.

Blowback-operated sub-caliber conversion unit lets you shoot less expensive.22 LR ammunition in any mil-spec 1911 Government model, so you can afford to practice more. Preserves pistol’s weight, balance, and overall feel to help you develop specific skills and “muscle memory” to shoot better with full-power ammo. Simply remove the factory slide and barrel, replace them with the conversion unit, and load up the included .22 magazine with premium-grade high-velocity ammunition.

Calibers: .45 ACP Features: Full 5-inch barrel and steel frame. Match grade frame, slide, barrel, bushing and chamber. Custom features standard; extended thumb safety, high ride beavertail grip safety, beveled magazine well and slightly extended magazine release and slide release. Kimber Tactical Rail for accessory mounting available on some models. Match grade barrel is machined from a single piece of solid steel for accuracy and long life. Enlarged firing pin stop locks the extractor in position for absolute reliability. Beveled magazine well on all pistols ensures quick magazine loading.

These rifles were produced for the U.S. Army between 1987 and 1990. Although these are still in the original manufacturer’s packaging and have never been used, many of the stock, barrels and receivers may have light scratches or razor cuts from when the protective bags were opened to conduct serial number inventory in the mid-90’s. This is a minor cosmetic deficiency that detracts slightly from the appearance, but does not affect the functioning of the rifle.
